AT Racing will be great protagonist of the International GT Open Championship 2012 reconfirming its commitment in the hard competition. After the year of the debut - 2011 - on the new Ferrari 458 Italia GT2, the powerful driver duo composed by Alexander Talkanitsa and Alexander Talkanitsa junior will try to do again positive results and fighting for the top positions of the ranking.
The first event scheduled is the race at Portimao (April 28th-29th) with 40 cars will share the track. At the start, there are some of the best drivers of the GT World, very competitive cars and great experienced teams.
In 2012 the GT Open International will enter its sixth edition, having enjoyed a growing success in terms of excellence and quality of entries, interest raised, exposure and geographical expansion.
All this goes hand in hand to the general increase of public and of the media care. Today, the GT Open is the best platform for GT2 and GT3 pro-am racing in Europe and the series offers the best GT2 cars performance.
The standard event format counts 2 free practice sessions (60’) on Friday, 2 qualifying sessions (40’) and race 1 (70’) on Saturday, race 2 (50’) on Sunday.
